Ladybirds Banana Split .

Directions

   Take an oval shared bowl to use for this dish .

   Take the banana and leave the skin on but cut both end off the banana and discard the end bits , next cut the banana lengthwise down the centre , still leaving the skin on until banana is needed .

   DeStalk the strawberries and cut them into halves or quarter , depending on their size .

   Take a scoop of my home made vanilla ice cream (or ice cream of your choice) and place in the middle of the base of the oval bowl .

   Next take a scoop of my home made chocolate ice cream (or ice cream of your choice) and place next to the vanilla ice cream in the base of the oval bowl .

   Now take the last scoop of my home made strawberry ice cream (or ice of your choice) and place the other side of the vanilla ice cream in the base of the oval bowl .

   Now take the banana and remove both the halves of banana flesh from the skin , discard the skin , and place one half of the banana flesh each side of the ice cream in the base of the oval bowl .

   Next take the strawberry pieces and scatter them over and around the ice cream and banana in the base of the oval bowl .

   Using a piping bag , if possible , and pipe the cream evenly and decorative all over top of the ice cream , strawberries pieces and banana in the oval bowl .

    Now drizzle the tablespoon of chocolate sauce evenly all over the top of the cream on the ice cream and banana in the base of the oval bowl .

    If using the flaked chocolate or crushed nuts , now is the time to scatter them all over the top of the chocolate sauce and cream on the ice cream and banana in the base of the oval bowl .

    Take the two cherries and place them on top in the middle of the cream on the ice cream and banana in the oval bowl , for top garnish .

    Serve cold , with a spoon .
