- 1 lb. ground lamb or 70% lamb and 30% beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 large cans stewed tomatoes or whole chopped tomatoes
- 2 medium cans kidney beans
- 1 small to medium can tomato sauce or tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Brown ground lamb, drain.

2Slice onion in small pieces and brown.

3Mix lamb, onion, tomatoes, beans and tomato sauce.

4Heat to a slow boil and dilute to taste.

5Add 1 tablespoon chili powder, salt and black pepper to taste.

6Simmer 15 to 30 minutes.

7Serve hot with Ritz crackers or pour over rice.

8Serves 6 to 10 persons.
