- 500 g lamb (whatever necks/forequarters etc)
- 250 g potatoes, sliced
- salt and pepper
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 12 teaspoon dried herbs
- 34 cup stock
- 15 g butter or 15 g cooking spray
Directions

1Cover base of a 1-2 l casserole dish with half the potatoes.

2arrange lamb on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3mix together onion, carrot, celery, herbs, salt and pepper to taste.

4spread over lamb.

5pour over stock arrange remaining potatoes in overlapping circles on top.

6brush with butter or spray.

7cover and cook in 180 degree oven for 1 and a 1/2 hours.

8remove lid and cook 20-30 minute.
