- 1 lb. lamb shoulder, cubed and rubbed with garlic
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 4 c. hot water
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
Directions

1Brown lamb and onions until very dark.

2Stir constantly. Place in a casserole with the seasonings, water and rice.

3Be sure to add salt for the rice.

4Cover and bake in a moderate oven until rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
