- 1 1/2 lb. potatoes
- 1 1/2 lb. lamb shoulder or other cut
- 1 large onion
- 1 sliced carrot (optional)
- 1/4 pt. stock or water
- seasoning
Directions

1Slice potatoes.

2Arrange a layer on bottom of casserole dish. Cut meat into pieces (as for stew) and place over potatoes.

3Add sliced onion, carrot and stock.

4Add seasoning; cover with remainder of sliced potatoes.

5Cover and bake at 375° for 2 hours. Remove cover last 15 minutes to brown potatoes.
