  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cans tomatoes (1 lb.)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 tsp. oregano
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Cook noodles in water with oil and salt.

    Cook meat in oil until brown.

    Drain.

    Mix flour with 1/2 cup tomato juice until smooth.

    Stir into meat with other tomatoes, juices, onion and seasonings.

    Layer in baking dish:

    meat, noodles, cheese; repeat. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or a little longer, if necessary.
