- 6 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salad dressing mix
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 can tomatoes
- 3 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. fennel seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
Directions

1Melt 4 tablespoons butter in saucepan.

2Add onion, salad dressing mix and tomatoes.

3Simmer, stirring, until liquid evaporates.

4Combine beef, bread crumbs, milk, eggs, 1/2 of Parmesan cheese, 1/2 of parsley, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper. Mix well and brown in remaining butter.

5Add to tomatoes mixture. Add tomato paste, water, sugar and remaining ingredients.

6Simmer 45 minutes.
