- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 3/4 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley flakes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. garlic
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 small box lasagna noodles
Directions

1Brown hamburger, add spices, onions, peppers and tomatoes. Simmer together 15 minutes. Then add tomato paste and water and simmer on low 1 hour.

2Cook noodles; drain water.

3In large pan, cover bottom of pan with sauce, then add a layer of noodles, layer the sauce, spoon cottage cheese in several places, layer of Mozzarella cheese, then layer of noodles, continue as before.

4In preheated 350° oven, bake 40 to 50 minutes.

5Remove and let stand 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
