  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb. ground beef
  • onion flakes and pepper (quite a bit)
  • 3 packs McCormick spaghetti seasoning
  • 2 1/2 cans tomato sauce (large cans)
  • 2 cans water
  • 12 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles

Directions

    Brown meat and drain.

    Add onion flakes and pepper, spaghetti mix, tomato sauce and water.

    Stir and simmer for 10 minutes with lid on.

    In large mixing bowl, mix Mozzarella cheese (save a little for the top), the 16 ounces cottage cheese and lots of parsley or parsley flakes.

    Boil lasagna noodles in large pan with 2 tablespoons oil.

    They are easier to handle broken in half.

    Place in pan in this order:

    meat sauce, noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture, noodles, meat sauce, cheese mixture and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese (if desired).

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Serve with garlic bread.
