- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 12 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 12 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1 12 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 12 teaspoons salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 14 teaspoon basil
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (12 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 3 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 34 cup hot water
- 8 -10 no-boil lasagna noodles
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 pint ricotta cheese
- 2 -3 cups mozzarella cheese
- 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Directions

1In Dutch oven, heat the oil.

2Add garlic, bell pepper, celery and onions.

3Saute until soft.

4Add the beef, salt, pepper, basil, oregano and parsley.

5Cook until crumbly.

6Add tomato paste, tomato sauce,balsamic vinegar and water.

7Simmer for 1-2 hours.

8In bowl, blend the eggs and ricotta cheese.

9In a 9x13 baking pan, layer 1/2 of meat sauce, 1/2 of noodles, all the ricotta cheese mixture and 1/2 half of the mozzarella cheese.

10Repeat the noodles and mozzarella cheese.

11Top with remaining meat sauce.

12Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

13Uncover and continue baking for 20 minutes or until it bubbles.

14Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

15Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before cutting in squares to serve.
