  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 c. fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 to 2 boxes lasagna sheets
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) can pureed tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. oregano
  • 1/4 c. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Pour oil in a medium to large pot and add chopped onion and garlic.

    Let brown.

    Add ground beef.

    Drain and add tomato sauce and pureed tomatoes and 8 ounces water.

    In a separate bowl, mix Ricotta cheese, parsley, Mozzarella cheese and eggs. Boil lasagna sheets.

    In a baking dish, put one layer meat sauce, one layer lasagna sheets and one layer cheese mix and repeat steps and bake at 425° for 30 minutes covered with foil.
