Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 3 cans tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomato paste (if needed)
  • 1 large can Parmesan cheese
  • lasagna noodles, cooked
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • garlic to taste (fresh or powder)
  • 1 large carton cottage cheese
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Brown first 4 ingredients and drain.

    Add tomatoes, sauce and spices.

    Cook for at least one hour.

    For thicker sauce, add tomato paste.
