- 1/2 lb. pkg. lasagna, uncooked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook lasagna 12 to 15 minutes or until tender; drain.

2In large skillet, combine ground beef, onion and garlic.

3Cook until beef is brown; drain.

4Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.

5Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

6In large shallow buttered baking dish, layer 1/3 each lasagna, meat sauce, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheeses.

7Repeat layers.

8Top with Parmesan cheese.

9Cover and bake at 350° until hot, about 45 minutes.

10Makes 8 to 10 servings.
