Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 c. (1 lb. can) tomatoes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta (thin)
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown meat; drain.

    Add onion; cook until tender.

    Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water, garlic and seasonings.

    Cover; simmer 30 minutes.

    In a 12 x 8-inch baking dish, layer half of noodles, meat sauce and cheeses.

    Repeat layers.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
