Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. Mozzarella cheese (whole)
- 1 large can tomato puree (1 lb. 15 oz.)
- 3 (6 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato paste
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 bag frozen, chopped onions (12 to 16 oz.)
- 1 lb. fresh Ricotta cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Neufchatel or cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 small can Parmesan cheese
- spices: plenty of garlic powder, parsley, oregano, basil, etc.
Directions

1Two days before using, make sauce:

2Brown onions in bottom of a large Dutch oven.

3Add meat and brown.

4Stir occasionally to break it up well.

5Add salt, pepper, lots of oregano, garlic powder, 3 cans of tomato paste and can of puree.

6Add 1 teaspoon of sugar.

7Cover.

8Simmer 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so and taste to season.

9When done, put in a large airtight container.

10Store in refrigerator at least 24 hours before using.
