Ingredients
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. shredded carrots
- 2 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. lasagna
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- large can tomatoes
Directions

1Cook the lasagna as directed on box in a large skillet.

2Heat pan with tomatoes.

3Add chopped onion, chopped garlic and shredded carrots.

4Cook for 5 minutes until light brown.

5Then add ground beef and mix.

6When beef is brown, pure the whole tomatoes after blending and add to the pan.

7Add oregano, basil, butter, salt and pepper.

8Half cover pan, simmer for 30 minutes.

9Get a lasagna pan and put sauce on the bottom of it, put a layer of lasagna, Ricotta and half of the shredded Mozzarella cheese.

10Add another layer of lasagna, Ricotta and the Parmesan cheese, and then cover sauce mixture over all.

11Repeat process and then add another layer of noodles, sauces and sprinkle with Romano cheese.

12Bake in oven at 375° for 25 minutes.
