  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 lb. 12 oz. can tomatoes plus 16 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 lb. Mozzarella
  • 3 (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 (10 oz.) lasagna noodles
  • 32 oz. small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley

    Brown meat; drain. Add next 6 ingredients, tomatoes and tomato paste. Add 1/2 cup water if too thick. Cook and stir for 45 minutes. Cook noodles; drain and rinse in cold water. Combine cottage cheese and next 4 ingredients plus Parmesan cheese. Layer in 9 x 13 pan the noodles, meat mixture, cottage cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese. Continue until the pan is full. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
