Ingredients

  • 1 c. bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans Italian-style chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 (10 oz.) box lasagna noodles
  • 1 carton Ricotta cheese
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Mix together ground beef, onions, peppers, oregano, garlic salt and tomatoes.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    While sauce is simmering, add noodles to a separate large pot of water containing 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

    Cook until tender and drain. Layer noodles, sauce, Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese in three equal portions in large baking pan.

    The finished product will have three layers.

    Bake at 350° until it bubbles.

    Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
