Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced (powder okay)
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can whole unpeeled tomatoes
- 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce
- 6 to 8 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions

1Brown meat and drain.

2In a 2-quart saucepan add browned meat, garlic and pepper.

3Simmer about 10 minutes.

4Add tomatoes (I liquefy them in the food processor), tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce mix.

5Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

6Boil lasagna noodles 8 minutes; drain.

7Spray a glass 9 x 13-inch baking dish with Pam. Pour 1/3 of sauce mixture in dish.

8Cover with lasagna noodles. Add grated Mozzarella cheese over noodles and spoon Ricotta over cheese.

9Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce and top with Parmesan cheese (if desired).

10Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

11Let set 5 minutes and serve.
