  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • small can tomato paste
  • large can whole tomatoes
  • lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz. container cottage cheese
  • large container Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion; put in tomato paste, canned tomatoes (chopped), salt and pepper to taste.

    Sprinkle generously with oregano.

    Simmer.

    Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water. Take container of cottage cheese and mix in one egg.

    Drain noodles when tender.

    Put a little sauce in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.

    Put a layer of noodles, then 1/2 of cottage cheese.

    Spread over noodles.

    Shake Parmesan to cover, then one package of Mozzarella, then half of sauce.

    Repeat.

    Mozzarella on top.

    Bake 30 minutes at 350° uncovered.
