Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 pt. canned tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 10 to 12 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 10 to 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 carton cottage cheese
  • lasagna noodles

Directions

    Grate Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese.

    Mix in bowl the eggs, Parmesan cheese and cottage cheese.

    Have noodles boiled and slightly cooled.

    In a 9 x 13-inch casserole, put small amount of oil.

    Put layer of lasagna noodles, layer of meat mixture and spoon in 1/2 of egg and cottage cheese mixture.

    Sprinkle with 1/2 grated cheese, then repeat from noodles to cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

    Let set a few minutes before serving.
