  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. whole basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 6 lasagna noodles
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese

    Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat.

    Add next five ingredients.

    Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    While meat is simmering in mixing bowl, mix eggs, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes and pepper.

    Cook noodles in large amount of salted boiling water until tender. Drain and rinse.
