Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 small cans tomato sauce
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 2 small (paste) cans water
  • 3 lb. shredded cheese (Provolone or Mozzarella)
  • oregano to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef with onion and oregano.

    Drain fat from meat.

    Add sauce, paste and water.

    Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles; drain.

    Layer in lasagna pan noodles, sauce and shredded cheese.

    Repeat, ending with cheese (3 layers).

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, until cheese melts and starts to bubble.

    Remove from oven and let set for a while before cutting.
