- 2 lb. ground beef
- 4 Tbsp. parsley
- 2 tsp. basil
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 - 2 bay leaves
- 3 - 4 Tbsp. sugar
- Fresh garlic
- Salt and pepper
- 2 lg. cans tomato sauce
- 2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- Lg. carton cottage cheese or ricotta cheese with 2 eggs mixed
Directions

1Brown ground beef and add spices and tomato sauce.

2Simmer for 2 - 3 hrs.

3The longer the better.

4Cook and drain lasagna noodles. Grease 13 x 9 pan and layer with noodles.

5Spoon part of beef mixture on top.

6Layer with mozzarella cheese; cottage cheese mixture.

7Continue layering as above and end with beef mixture. Grate fresh parmesan on top.

8Bake at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly, usually 25 - 30 minutes.
