  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 15 oz. can tomatoes
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 12 oz. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles

Directions

    Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in large saucepan until meat is brown and onion is tender.

    Drain off fat.

    Add tomatoes and break up with a fork.

    Stir in tomato sauce, parsley, sugar, salt, basil and oregano.

    Reduce heat; simmer while cooking noodles.
