- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Lightly brown beef, onion and garlic in olive oil.

2Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water and spices.

3Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.

4Cook lasagna noodles; drain.

5In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan layer alternately sauce, noodles and the 3 cheeses.

6Cover with foil.

7Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
