Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. pkg. lasagna
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 lb. cottage cheese
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion, drain.

    Add garlic salt, parsley flakes, salt, pepper, tomato paste and water and simmer 30 minutes.

    Cook lasagna as directed on package.

    Mix together eggs and cottage cheese.

    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan spread about 1/2 cup sauce then alternate layers of lasagna, sauce and egg mixture and Mozzarella until pan is filled.

    Top with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
