- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 lb. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese slices
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat; drain.

2Add onion; cook until tender.

3Stir in tomato paste, water and seasonings.

4Cover; simmer 30 minutes.

5In an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish, layer half of noodles, meat sauce, Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella cheese; repeat layers. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

6Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.

7Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
