  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (15 to 16 oz.) Ricotta or cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 8 lasagne noodles, cooked and drained

Directions

    Brown ground beef; drain.

    Stir in spaghetti sauce, oregano and garlic powder. Meanwhile, combine Ricotta or cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper and 1 cup Mozzarella cheese. Spoon 1/2 of sauce into 2-quart oblong glass baking dish.

    Top with 4 noodles and cheese mixture. Top with remaining noodles and sauce.

    Bake at 350° for about 20 to 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella cheese.
