Ingredients
- 1 lb. lasagne noodles
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1 lb. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Cook and drain lasagne while browning ground beef.

2When brown, drain excess fat (rinse for less cholesterol).

3Add spaghetti sauce, water, spices, salt and pepper to taste.

4Layer in 9 x 14-inch pan the sauce, noodles and cheeses in that order twice.

5Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 375°.

6Remove foil and let cheese brown.

7Let set a few minutes and serve. Makes approximately 8 average servings.
