Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (6 oz. each) cans tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 (8oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 pkg. Swiss cheese (8 slices)
  • 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese (8 slices)
  • 1 1/2 c. creamed cottage cheese

Directions

    In medium skillet, cook and stir ground beef and garlic until meat is brown.

    Drain off grease.

    Add tomato sauce and paste, salt, pepper and oregano.

    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Cook noodles as directed on package.

    In ungreased baking dish, 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch, alternate layers of meat and sauce, noodles, Swiss cheese, Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese, beginning and ending with meat and sauce.

    Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before baking.
