- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
- 1 carton large curd cottage cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 lb. American cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat, add next four ingredients and simmer.

2Cook noodles.

3Mix together cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper and parsley flakes.

4Place 1/2 noodles in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spread 1/2 cottage cheese mixture and 1/2 meat mixture.

5Add 1/2 pound American cheese, sliced thin.

6Repeat layers and cover with 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

7Bake 30 minutes at 375°.
