Ingredients

  • 8 or 9 noodles
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • fresh garlic
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 carton (6 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • 14 oz. jar Ragu
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese

Directions

    In oil, brown onion and garlic; add beef.

    Brown lightly. Pour off oil and fat.

    Add salt, pepper, oregano, Ragu and cottage cheese.

    Let simmer.

    (Taste for flavor.)

    Layer noodles, Mozzarella cheese, sauce and Parmesan cheese.

    Start over.

    End with cheese on top.

    Microwave for 10 minutes on High or bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
