- 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1/2 lb. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 2 c. cottage cheese
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Combine salt, tomato sauce and paste, parsley and basil with beef.

2Simmer for 30 minutes.

3Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan, eggs and pepper.

4Layer half beef mixture in 13 x 9-inch pan. Cover with half noodles, then half cottage cheese mixture, then half Mozzarella cheese.

5Repeat layers.

6Cover with foil.

7Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

8Remove foil and bake until cheese starts to brown, approximately 30 minutes.

9Remove from oven and let set for 15 minutes.

10Do not mix beef tomato mixture with cottage cheese mixture.
