- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 15 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 9 lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
- 12 oz. cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. grated Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef, garlic and onion.

2Drain.

3Add next 4 ingredients.

4Simmer, uncovered, 30 to 45 minutes (or cook in crock-pot on low for 2 hours).

5Combine cottage cheese, egg, salt, parsley flakes and Parmesan cheese.

6In 13 x 9-inch casserole, layer 3 noodles, 1/3 of meat sauce, 1/2 of cheese mixture and 1/3 of Mozzarella cheese.

7Repeat layers.

8Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
