- 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano
- 5 lasagne noodles
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Saute beef and garlic in oil until meat is browned; drain. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and oregano; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2Cook noodles according to package directions.

3Drain.

4Layer half of noodles, Mozzarella cheese, Ricotta, meat sauce and Parmesan cheese in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.

5Repeat layers.

6Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Yields 2.
