Layered Avocado Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cans bean dip
  • 3 mashed ripe avocados
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning
  • 2 c. chopped lettuce
  • 1 c. chopped green onions
  • 1 or 2 cans sliced black olives
  • 2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix together the bean dip, avocados, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    Spread onto large platter, spreading to edges.

    Mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning.

    Spread over bean mixture.

    Layer remaining ingredients in the order given.

    Chill for 3 to 4 hours.

    Serve with tortilla style chips.
