Layered Cabbage Casserole

  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can water
  • grated cheese
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can water

Directions

    Brown ground meat with paprika and chopped onion.

    Cut up cabbage into the bottom of a large casserole dish.

    Sprinkle with raw rice.

    Combine can of mushroom soup and can of water.

    Pour over rice and cabbage.

    Add meat and grated cheese.

    Add cans of tomato sauce and can of water.

    Bake at 350°, covered, for 1 hour or longer.
