- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. unsalted butter or shortening
- 6 Tbsp. honey
- 3 eggs
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 5 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Cream together sugar and butter or shortening in large mixing bowl.

2Add honey, eggs and milk and mix well.

3Work in dry ingredients with hands, kneading well until smooth.

4Divide into 4 parts.

5Roll each part out to fit a 10 x 13-inch cookie sheet with no sides, or inverted cookie sheets.

6Bake on ungreased sheets at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.

7Before cooling, run a long knife under it to loosen from pan.

8Cool.
