  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
  • 1 c. raw rice
  • 2 lb. cabbage firmly sliced
  • 2 cans tomato soup (10-3/4 oz. each)
  • 2 cans water
  • Salt & pepper to taste

    Saute meat until browned.

    Drain off fat.

    Add onion soup mix and rice to meat.

    Stir well.

    Put cabbage in large casserole dish.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Spread meat mixture over cabbage. Mix water and tomato soup together and pour over the meat and cabbage.

    Cover and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
