- 1 large (28 oz.) can sauerkraut
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1/2-inch wide egg noodles
- pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
- 1 c. water
Directions

1In a large skillet, melt butter; add onion, pepper and garlic powder.

2Saute 5 minutes.

3Rinse sauerkraut well and drain.

4Add to butter and onion mixture.

5Mix well.

6Add water and simmer 20 minutes.

7Boil noodles.

8Drain and add to sauerkraut.

9Mix well; simmer, covered, until ready to serve.
