  • 3 to 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 well-beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 recipes pie pastry

Directions

    Combine peaches, sugar, salt, egg, flour, butter and cinnamon. Pour this mixture into a prepared 6 1/2 x 10-inch rectangular dish or a 10-inch pie pan lined with pastry. Roll out second recipe for pastry and cut in strips and put on top of the pie. Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes.
