  • 1 lb. corkscrew macaroni
  • 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/2 to 3/4 lb. bacon, cut up
  • 1 large can sauerkraut
  • 3 medium chopped onion
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Rinse kraut in cold water and cook it early or the night before.

    When cool, squeeze out as much water as possible.

    Fry kraut in butter with mushrooms.
  4. 4
    In another frypan, fry bacon. Take bacon out; put onions in and saute.

    Add all ingredients with cooked noodles and bake in casserole dish 20 minutes at 350°.
