Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. diet margarine (room temperature; use only type which is 50% less calories)

Directions

    Stir flour, salt and baking powder together.

    Add margarine. Cut with fork or pastry blender. Continue mixing until nothing sticks to side of the bowl. Shape into a ball. Wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour or more.

    If prebaking, heat oven to 425°. Bake 12 minutes until golden.

    This is for 8-inch pan. For a good size 9-inch pan with high fluted edge, double recipe.
