Ingredients
- 34 lb ground round
- 34 lb 50% less fat sausage
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes (I use ones that have garlic and other spices mixed in but you can use whatever you like)
- 1 small onion, diced very fine
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 teaspoon thyme
- 2 slices white bread, diced (you can use reduced calorie bread, or whole wheat bread)
- 1 egg

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Put 1/2 of the can of tomatoes in a bowl with liquid.

3Smash with fork or ricer.

4Reserve the rest of the tomatoes.

5Add worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and seasonings.

6Mix well.

7Place bread in liquid.

8Let sit 2 minutes.

9Add egg and mix in.

10Mix meats together, then add to liquid and bread.

11Blend until well incorperated.

12Shape into balls.

13Size doesn't matter, whatever you like is fine.

14Bake for about 20 minutes on a cookies sheet.

15I use parchment paper for easy cleanup.

16You can also bake these on a cookie rack for even less fat.

17You can add the rest of the tomatoes to a red sauce, if using for spagetti, or save for a later meal.
