Leek Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 c. cubed potatoes
  • 2 or 3 stalks leeks, cut up fine
  • salt
  • milk
  • 1/2 cube butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. bacon bits
  • 1 tsp. chicken soup powder (optional)

Directions

    Boil potatoes in water just to cover with leeks.

    Add salt. When done, add milk for more broth as needed.

    Add butter or margarine and bacon bits.
  4. 4
    I use potato masher to mash potatoes some so it's thicker.
