- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 lb. raisins
- 1 lb. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Sift baking powder, soda and salt with flour.

4Add flour mixture and sour cream alternately using flour mixture first and last.

5Stir in raisins and pecans.

6Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Grease cookie sheet.

7Drop by teaspoon or roll into balls.
-
8Bake at 350° for 8 minutes (no more than this).

9Ice with Browned Butter Icing.
