- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, divided
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar, divided
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
Directions

1Combine 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.

2Cut butter into flour and sugar with a pastry blender until mixture resembles cornmeal.

3Spoon mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

4Press into pan evenly and firmly, using fingertips.

5Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned.
