  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. coconut (optional)

Directions

    Mix together flour, butter and powdered sugar with a fork until well blended.

    Pat into ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, until light brown.
