  • 1 box lime jello
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 vanilla wafer crumb crusts
  • crushed vanilla wafers
  • butter

Directions

    Dissolve jello in water.

    Add lemon juice and sugar.

    Chill and whip.

    Chill thoroughly the evaporated milk and whip.

    Fold in jello mixture and fill 2 vanilla wafer crumb crusts.

    Top with a bit of crushed vanilla wafers (toasted with a bit of butter and baked in 375° oven and cooled).

    Chill pie and serve.
